Bollywood is unpredictable in terms of success. Some become successful like A-listers while others struggle to keep their fame intact. Arjun Kapoor is one of the actors now considered to be a struggling actor in terms of giving hits even after starting well in Bollywood. He is the son of producer Boney Kapoor. The actor’s last two films couldn’t even brush past the Rs 5 crore mark at the box office. However, his recent failures did not impact the actor’s career. He is still getting roles in high-budget films which often becomes hard after a series of failures in Bollywood.

Arjun Kapoor debuted with the movie Ishaqzaade which was released in 2012. The critics and audiences appreciated the performance of the actor in the movie, directed by Parma Chauhan. He also co-starred movie Gunday with Ranveer Singh which performed well at the box office. Films like 2 States and Half Girlfriend were some of his solo hits. After this, the actor couldn’t give any hits at the box office. His last hit was Half Girlfriend which came in 2017. The actor has done 10 films after this but faced failures at the box office. Arjun Kapoor’s latest release The Lady Killer became one of the the biggest box office flops in Indian cinema. On the opening day, the movie grossed only Rs 38,000 due to limited screens and heavy criticism.

Earlier, Arjun Kapoor’s Kuttey grossed only Rs 4 crore in India. The actor also played the lead role in the movie Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar which suffered a loss due to the Covid-19 lockdown. However, the movie gained recognition after it was released on OTT.

Being a star kid and a brilliant actor as proved through his debut movie, Arjun Kapoor has no shortage of opportunities in Bollywood. According to some reports, the actor is likely to play the role of the main villain in Rohit Shetty’s much-awaited film Singham Again. It is part of the Singham franchise and the Shetty’s Cop Universe. Its estimated budget is Rs 200 crore.
