To make this recipe, first of all pressure cook the black gram with salt and water. Once done, drain off the excess water and keep aside.

Take a bowl, add dry spices like red chili powder, black salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, water, lemon juice, mix well and keep aside. Now take a wok, add cooking oil, cumin seeds and mix well. Add green chilies and fry for a minute.

Add the prepared spice mixture, mix well and cook for about 1-2 minutes.
