This Indian company is taking on Google Street View with its own app – Times of India

six years later, Google Street View was finally re-announced in India. On the same day, MapMyIndia, an Indian digital mapping company, launched Mappls. announced real sceneA pan-India 360-degree panoramic street view.
360 degree street view will be available through MapMyIndia’s Maple On Android, iOS and the web. The company says maple real viewUsers can explore and interact with 360-degree panoramas of roads, tourist places and travel destinations across India.
“We are excited to give users in India a fully indigenous alternative to overseas map apps, which is more advanced in its capabilities and more valuable to users, while also being completely Indian. We hope that in India Users will try Maple and give us feedback so that we can continue to improve.This is the right way to achieve the clarion call for Atmanirbhar Bharat given by our Honorable Prime Minister Narendra ModiRohan Verma, CEO, MapMyIndia said.
City Maple will be available in Realview
Mappls Realview covers a distance of thousands of kilometers spread across various cities in India. RealView offers 360-degree street view across multiple urban cities including Greater Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Goa, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Chandigarh, Jodhpur, Patna, Nashik, Aurangabad, Ajmer. It also covers towns and also shows highways spanning over thousands of kilometres.
The company says that Maple Realview has 400 million+ geo-tagged 360-degree panoramas and videos that give accurate details about the location. In addition, it also provides thousands of 3D models. According to the company, a part of this repository is already live for users on the Maple web portal and mobile app.
The company also announced Street View as well as a 3D Metaverse maps service.
