VInu’s Igloo is an ice cream outlet in West Mambalam, Chennai. At Vinoo’s igloo, a cone of ice cream costs just ₹2. The outlet is currently run by Vinoth and was established by his father in 1995.
How does he keep up with such a low price range?
Vinoth says that he does not make that much profit by selling ice cream for ₹ 2. But because of this price there is always a huge crowd outside the shop. Most of the time, customers don’t stop at ₹2 ice cream but opt for other ice cream or juice, which benefits Vinoth. He serves the same cone with more cream for ₹8.
At Vinoo’s Igloo, customers get billed even if they buy just one ice cream cone.
