While talking to Local18, the owner of Patti Wali Chaat shop, Kailash Arora said that he has been selling this chaat near the Triveni Ghat for the past five years. He has been getting major praise for the taste and uniqueness of the chaat.

Describing how he prepares the chaat, Kailash said that he takes curd, crispy kachori, chutney, boiled potatoes and serves them together on a leaf. He also stated that the leaf used to serve this chaat is special and is not available everywhere. It has health benefits as it helps in better digestion when the food is served in it. The leaf is called a Malu leaf.
