Three boys missing from orphanage, found in seven hours

Police found three boys missing from an orphanage in St Thomas Mount within seven hours and were brought back on Wednesday.

Based on a complaint by Warden Kalaivani, a police team led by the Inspector of Police, St. Thomas Mount launched an investigation to trace the boys who were inmates at the Webbs Memorial Orphanage. Based on the complaint, the police alerted.

Police found that one of the missing boys called his mother from his relative’s mobile phone at Perandur village in Uthukkottai in Thiruvalluvar district. Police reached the village and rescued the youths safely. He was handed over to the warden.
