Kandhkot [Pakistan]May 27 (ANI): Chief Justice of Sindh High Court took notice of the kidnapping of three-year-old Samrat Kumar from Kandhkot four days back. Pakistan’s regional media Jasrat reported that Chief Justice Sindh High Court Ahmed Ali M Shaikh has asked Kandhkot’s Sessions Judge, IGP Sindh and SSP Kandhkot to submit a report on the incident within two days.
It may be noted that after the kidnapping of three-year-old Samrat Kumar, the kidnappers had released a video in which it was seen that the child’s hands were tied and he was having difficulty in eating. The abduction of the innocent girl drew strong reaction from across the province.

Apart from this, there are ten people including a two-year-old girl, the said three-year-old girl and a woman in the custody of the robbers in Kandhkot district. More than 30 people have been abducted from the district. Hundreds of political and social leaders and hundreds of citizens including Chaudhary Diwan Lal, Meharchand, Dilip Kumar Thakur, Tulsidas participated on the call of the Hindu Panchayat to protest against the abduction of three-year-old Samrat Kumar and the growing insecurity in the district. Ashok Kumar, Santosh Agarwal, Raj Khanna, Sajjad Brohi, Shahnawaz Marhito, Haji Altaf Hussain Bhangwar and others led by Hafiz Nasrullah Chana, Jarit Bejrani, Ghulam Mustafa Mirani protested at the heart of the city at Tower Chowk. The protesters reached the DC office and sat at the main gate of the office. While addressing the dharna and talking to the media, the leaders said that the work of the police is zero. The police is completely silent.
The dacoits are kidnapping innocent children fearlessly, due to which their business is also getting affected. Earlier the business class used to go to the shops but now they are going to protest everyday for peace. Pakistan’s local media Jasrat reported that the women were robbed by smugglers.
The shopkeeper was fatally attacked for not paying the ransom. But now innocent children are being kidnapped, which is very disappointing. where do they go? How long will this torture be tolerated? We are protesting and appealing to higher authorities with the help of media to recover all the kidnappers including innocent Samrat Kumar and restore peace. On this occasion DC Manur Ali Mithiyani came to the main gate of the dharna and spoke to the police officers regarding the release of all the abducted including innocent Samrat Kumar, after which the dharna was called off.
On the other hand, the Chief Justice of Sindh High Court has taken cognizance of the kidnapping of innocent Samrat Kumar. A report has been sought from IG Sindh Police, District Sessions Judge and SSP in two days. (ANI)
