Titan reported on Friday that its net profit increased by 33 percent 857 crore for the September 2022 quarter. This is against the net profit of 641 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Titan’s operating revenue up 22 percent 8,730 crore in the quarter under review from 7,170 crore a year ago.
CK Venkataraman, Managing Director of the company said, “Despite the uncertain macro environment, the current festive season starting from the end of September and continuing till the end of October has been very positive and consumer confidence is upbeat.”
The company’s stock closed with a gain of 0.18 percent on the BSE on Friday. 2,768.30
