Telugu actor Sai Dharam Tej was injured after falling from a bike in Hyderabad on Friday night.

Hyderabad: Tollywood actor and nephew of famous star Chiranjeevi, Sai Dharam Tej was hospitalized after a motorcycle accident in Hyderabad. The actor was shifted to Jubilee Hills Apollo Hospital for treatment and doctors say his condition is stable.
“Sai Dharam Tej was intubated and put on assisted respiration at the nearest hospital and later shifted here. As of now, he is medically stable. Based on preliminary investigation, no major injury has been reported to the brain, spine and major organs. He suffered soft tissue injuries and a collar bone fracture. There is no need for immediate surgical intervention,” read the hospital’s health bulletin. The bulletin also said that they are being closely monitored and further evaluation will be done.
Dharam Tej family members including brother Vaishnav Tej, uncle Pawan Kalyan, cousin Varun Tej, Niharika Konidela and friend Sandeep Kishan reached the hospital to meet the actor. Allu Aravind and Chiranjeevi’s wife Surekha were also present there.
Chiranjeevi revealed that fans need not worry as Sai Tej suffered only minor injuries in the accident and is slowly recovering. According to the police, he was slipping on a sports bike and fell near the cable bridge in Madhapur area. The actor was wearing a helmet and suffered injuries.
Locals responded quickly, helping 108 reach a nearby Medicare hospital. After first aid there, he was taken to Apollo Hospital.
Sai Dharam Tej is the son of Vijaya Durga, the sister of notable Tollywood stars Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan.
