Pizza is an Italian dish that has traveled around the world. The humble dough is baked with marinara sauce, lots of cheese, and the best toppings. There are many innovations and creative techniques that chefs have applied to pizza—giving it a new spin and recreating it. However, one such modern pizza was not liked by Reddit users. A Reddit post surfaced online showing pizza from Rome, Italy, and the mediocre toppings was actually suspicious to users. Have a look:

The post was shared in the sub-Reddit r/funny by user u/saltybz, where it received 15k upvotes and 2k comments. “My brother got this pizza in Rome, Italy,” revealed the user. picture shown a Pizza Base that fries, topped with sausage pieces, and drizzled with tomato ketchup and mayonnaise. The disheveled dish seemed quickly put together and something clearly went wrong with the meager toppings.
Reddit users reacted to Meezly Pizza. Many expressed surprise at the pizza from Rome, Italy and how it was displayed bizarre toppings. Even the odd combination of french fries with sausage as a pizza topping didn’t go down too well with Reddit users. Some suggested that this pizza is only for kids and not adults. Others called it an ‘American’ built for American tourists in Italy.
