The Toyota Hilux shares its underpinnings, features and powertrain with the Toyota Fortuner facelift.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has unveiled the much awaited Hilux Lifestyle pickup truck in India and is expected to go on sale in March in our market. The Toyota Hilux will be offered only in a double-cab variant and shares its underpinnings with the existing Toyota Innova Crysta and Fortuner. It is made by the IMV-2 platform and actually has some recognizable bits that have been borrowed from the Fortuner. Having said that, the face looks fresh and fresh, giving the Hilux its identity.
