“Preparations are underway to build the district’s first skywalk. Once it is ready, people can easily reach the bus stand and railway and metro stations which are about to come up in MMTLH,” said Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Narendra Bhushan, Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA)
“The project is planned in 478 hectares covering seven villages of Bodaki area. While an approval has been received for the project from the Government of India, about 80% of the required land has been acquired,” said the CEO.
MMTLH will consist of three important projects, a railway station, an inter-state and local bus terminus and a metro station on the Aqua Line corridor.
The Railway Station Plan has been approved by the Ministry of Railways and is likely to be ready in the next five years.
“People living in and around Greater Noida will be able to take a train from here to go to other places including eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal. He will not have to go to Delhi now,” Bhushan said. The plan to build a 3 km long metro line from the depot station to Bodaki in Greater Noida has also been approved.
“Efforts are being made to make railway stations, bus stands and metro stations more accessible. So we have decided to build a skywalk.
He said the MMTLH would also have hotels, office space and parking lots. “People coming to the city for meetings or conferences will be able to stay in these hotels. We will also have office space and a multilevel parking lot,” he said.
Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Limited (IITGNL), a joint venture of Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) and an SPV company formed by GNIDA, Development Authority and National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT) will be involved in this. implementation of these projects.
