Indian cricket team spinner Yuzvendra Chahal took to Instagram to post a hilarious photo of teammate Kuldeep Yadav On his way to Indore for the third ODI against New Zealand. Both the spinners are close friends and on Sunday, Chahal used a filter in the social media platform to transform Kuldeep into a woman. The picture inspired hilarious reactions from users on social media and Chahal even captioned the Instagram story “travel partner” – something that left many people confused for a while.
India’s relentless pace attack took a toll on New Zealand’s weak batting line-up as the hosts registered an eight-wicket win in the second ODI to seal the three-match series in Raipur on Saturday.
The Mohammed Shami-led attack made a decisive effort to bowl out New Zealand for 108 before India were run out in 20.1 overs. It was an emphatic victory but the away Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium was packed with fans for Raipur’s first international match as the match ended early.
Shami (3/18) and Mohammed Siraj (1/10) made life difficult for the batsmen with his high-quality seam bowling, reducing New Zealand to 15 for five after Rohit opted to bowl. The odd ball stoppage made New Zealand’s batsmen’s task difficult, although the Indian openers made the batting look easy in the evening.
The third and last ODI will be played in Indore on Tuesday.
