Assembly elections are to be held in Tripura on 16 February. The counting of votes will take place on March 2 along with Nagaland and Meghalaya.
He further said that he has not joined politics to earn money.
Barman said, “For the first time after independence, a local party is trying something new. I have not joined politics to earn money. We have given candidates from every community and religion, not just one community. “
Talking about his party’s manifesto for the upcoming state assembly elections, he said that he wanted people to know his thinking through the party’s manifesto.
He said, “We want a manifesto to come out so that when we come to power, everyone knows what our thinking is. Till now Delhi’s parties used to make manifestos and announce us. We wanted to listen to the requests of our people.” ” “he adds.
He further boosted his hopes of being elected to power in the state.
“I am hopeful that in the coming days the public will accept and accept our small party as well,” he said.
He also outlined 15 issues in the state and assured to solve them within 150 days of coming to power.
“We have not said that we will change the whole world but which are 15 realistic things like health, education, women safety, CAA, minority rights, tribal rights, women empowerment, jobs, drinking water problem, we will solve it within do.” If we come to power, we will take action in the first 150 days.”
Hitting out at Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for his statement that Tipra Motha alone cannot form the government, Mr. Barman said, “If Himanta has said that Tipra Motha alone cannot form the government, then it is useless to vote for him, So if BJP cannot form government in Meghalaya then do not vote for BJP also. If BJP cannot form government on its own in Mizoram then do not vote for BJP. In Nagaland also if BJP cannot win elections on its own then Do not do this.
