Tripura: Trouble is increasing in BJP? Former CM Biplab Deb to hold meeting with loyalists, no other leader to attend

The meeting is being held a day ahead of the BJP Tripura State Executive meeting to discuss the party’s strategy for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections to be held on Tuesday.

A meeting between former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb and his BJP supporters is scheduled to take place at his residence on Sunday at 2:15 pm. Sources told News18 that there is some trouble going on in BJP Tripura.

According to the news, no big leader of BJP is attending the meeting. The meeting is being held a day ahead of the BJP Tripura State Executive meeting to discuss the party’s strategy for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections to be held on Tuesday. according to a PTI A senior party leader said on Saturday that it would be held at Charilam in Sepahijala district.

Last month, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha said the state BJP was determined to “gift two lotuses” to PM Modi in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

In a Facebook post, the chief minister said, “We are determined to present two lotuses from Tripura to Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji by strengthening the organization up to the booth level in the next Lok Sabha elections.”

Tripura has two Lok Sabha constituencies, West and East Tripura constituencies held by the ruling party.
