Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has renamed his party Telangana Rashtra Samithi to ‘Bharat Rashtra Samithi’ (BRS) to fight an effective fight against BJP across the country.

Earlier, the presence of party leaders including JD(S) leader and former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and Tamil Nadu-based Viduthalai Chiruthigal Katchi (VCK) founder-chief Thol Thirumavalavan had sparked speculation on the modalities of the nationwide plan.
