The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has started the registrations process for the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test 2024 (TS EdCET) from today i.e. from 6 March. Interested and eligible candidates can send in the application from the official website i.e. edcet.tsche.ac.in.
The TS Ed.CET-2024 exams is scheduled to be held from 23 May. The exam will be conducted in two shifts – from 10 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 4 pm. The Mahatma Gandhi University in Nalgonda will be conducting the exams for the two-year Bachelor of Education (BEd) course.
As per the official notification, the last date for submission of online applications without late fee is 6 May while with late fee of ₹250 by 13 May.
Eligibility for TS EDCET 2024
The minimum age criteria is 19 years as of 1 July. They should have a bachelor’s degree in either BA, B.com, BSc, BCA, BCA or BBM. Candidates with bachelor’s degree in engineering and technology can also apply. In addition to this, candidates holding Masters degree are also eligible, however, they need to have scored 50 percent marks.
Candidates possessing MBBS/ BSC(AG) / BVSC/ BHMT/ B.Pharm and such other professional and job oriented degree courses LLB are not eligible for admission into B.Ed Course. Also, candidates possessing a Master Degree without having undertaken undergraduate study are not eligible for admission.
Application fees for TS EDCET 2024
The application fees for general category is ₹750 while for f SC/ST/PH Candidates it is ₹550.

Fill in the form with the required information and upload the required documents
