TS ICET 2023 from May 26, registration will start from Monday

Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) will be conducted on 26th and 27th May this year. The online registration process for TS ICET 2023 will start from March 6 to May 5. Candidates can apply for the Common Entrance Test by visiting the official website icet.tsche.ac.in when the link is activated.

The exam is conducted for students seeking admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) courses. Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test will be conducted in two sessions on both the days. The exam will be conducted at 75 centers across the state. Kakatiya University, Warangal will conduct the entrance test on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).

TS ICET 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for TS ICET must be a resident of Telangana. They must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50 per cent marks, while 45 per cent marks is applicable for SC/ST and other reserved categories. Those students who are currently in their final year or appearing for their final year exams can also apply for TS ICET exam.

TS ICET 2023: Application Fee

Students belonging to general category have to pay Rs 650 while students belonging to SC or ST category have to pay Rs 450 as examination fee. Additionally, the last date to submit the application form with a late fee of Rs 250 and Rs 500 is May 12 and May 18, respectively.

According to local media reports, TS ICET convenor Prof P Varalakshmi said, “The last day for registration and application submission is May 12 with a late fee of Rs 250 and May 18 with a late fee of Rs 500.” ,

TS ICET 2023: Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The syllabus of the entrance test includes other topics like Mathematical Ability, Communication Ability, Symbol Interpretation, Blood Relations under Analytical Ability and so on. The Analytical, Mathematical and Communication sections will have 75 questions each, making a total of 200 questions. One mark will be given for each correct answer and there is no negative marking for wrong answer.

Once the exam is over, the tentative answer key is scheduled to be released on June 5. Meanwhile, candidates will be able to raise objections against the answer key till June 8, the report said. The results of the same will be declared on June 20. This year, Kakatiya University will conduct TS ICET for the 14th time.
