In the latest development in Tunisha Sharma’s death case, police searched the sets of her TV show Ali Baba: Dastan-e-Kabul. The 20-year-old TV actress was found hanging in her make-up room on December 24. It was alleged that he died by suicide and the autopsy report also mentioned suffocation as the cause of his death. On Monday, the Valiv police took the accused Sheejan Khan to the set of serial ‘Ali Baba: Dastan-e-Kabul’ in Naigaon at around 2 pm and investigated. During the search, a paper was found on the set, on which Sheejan was written.
According to the police, a note written by Tunisha was found, with Sheezan written on one side and the message, “She is blessed to have me as a co-actor Woohoo” on the other. Police also recovered a 10-inch-long cloth strip, which was cut and used for hanging.
According to the police, the accused Sheejan Khan had an affair with a girl other than Tunisha Sharma. On the day of Tunisha’s suicide, he spoke to his ‘secret girlfriend’ on call for 2 hours. Police have so far seized a total of 3 mobile phones, one of which belongs to Sheejan. In the same, the police have received WhatsApp chats of the accused with Tunisha and her mother. A chat between a girl (secret girlfriend) and Sheejan has been deleted from the mobile and the police is trying to retrieve it. It is believed that further questioning will be based on the deleted chats.
Meanwhile, the investigating officer is interrogating the accused Sheejan several times a day after taking him out of the lock-up, but he is neither giving correct answers to the questions nor helping in the investigation. He is also constantly changing his statements.

He had filed an FIR against Sheezan Khan and accused him of abetment to suicide. In the FIR copy, she has given details of her late daughter’s life since she started working on Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul in June 2022.
