It is a given that technology should make life easier. Over the years, most devices have undergone major changes from what was originally seen to improve their usefulness as well as design. But a video of a refrigerator from the 1950s has now gone viral on social media, and the internet has unanimously prioritized its features over those seen in refrigerators available today. The black and white video shows a woman taking the audience through the various features of the refrigerator, and as the video progresses, you will be left spellbound.
The video shows that there is a special place in the fridge for bottles and canned goods, butter as well as cheeses. Underneath it is a glass box to store vegetables that “bends down to show you your supplies at a glance” and even slides out fridge For ease of handling. The shelves in the fridge can be slid outward so you don’t have to pull items to get to the back. The freezer also has room for multiple ice trays and the ice cubes pop out easily.
Video The note was shared by the Twitter handle “Lost in History” along with the note, “Why is this 66 year old fridge better than the one I have now.” The clip has garnered over 9.2 million views in less than 48 hours.
