Return ₹200… MoreReturn The ₹2000 currency note announced by the Reserve Bank of India on May 19 will not have any negative impact on the economy, the RBI governor said in the June monetary policy review. Das also said that more than two-thirds of the total currency notes in circulation have returned to the system. According to RBI, the value of more than two-thirds of the bank notes of Rs 2.41 lakh crore ₹3.62 lakh crore of withdrawn 2000 banknotes till March 31, 2023 have returned to the system by the middle of last week.
