Royal Enfield It has reported sales of 63,643 motorcycles in May 2022, registering a significant increase of 133 per cent as compared to sales of 27,294 motorcycles in May 2021, when the second wave of the pandemic hit the industry last year. Continuing its international growth momentum, the company sold its highest ever number of motorcycles in overseas markets, at 10,118 units, registering a growth of over 40 per cent year-on-year. Royal Enfield continued its steady performance in the domestic market with sales of 53,525 motorcycles in the month of May.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 is the best selling motorcycle model of the brand.
As compared to April 2022 sales, Royal Enfield’s overall sales in May 2022 grew only by 2.39 per cent, from 62,155 units in April to 63,643 units in the month of May. In the domestic market, sales remained flat, with 53,582 motorcycles sold in domestic sales in April 2022, while 53,525 motorcycles were sold in domestic sales in May 2022. However, in the overseas markets, Royal Enfield registered a monthly growth of around 22 per cent in May 2022. In April 2022, Royal Enfield sold 8,303 motorcycles as compared to over 10,118 motorcycles shipped in overseas markets in May 2022.

Royal Enfield Himalayan Scrum 411 is the latest model based on the Himalayan 411 platform.
Sub 350cc motorcycles continue to be the top contributors to the company with the likes of Bullet 350, Classic 350, and Meteor 350. Royal Enfield Scrum 411 and Himalayan also continue to contribute with impressive sales volume.
