UAE: International Yoga Day celebrations begin with Poornima Yoga at helipad in UAE – Times of India

DUBAI: A unique full-moon yoga session set against the backdrop of the stunning Abu Dhabi skyline has been held, marking the beginning of international yoga day function in United Arab Emirates,

The event “Yogafest” is being organized for the public by the organization at its facilities in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai and Sharjah.
The daily sunrise yoga sessions throughout the week are part of the group’s community health and wellness-oriented initiative, which aims to encourage people to apply the benefits of yoga in their daily lives.
More than 2,000 people are expected to attend sessions and events across the three emirates.
In addition to its weekly yoga sessions, VPS Healthcare and Burjeel Hospital will tie up with the Embassy of India and Abu Dhabi Sports Council To organize a mass yoga event in which over 6,000 people are expected to participate.
Held at the Abu Dhabi Cricket Stadium on June 21 (International Yoga Day), the event will be one of the biggest yoga events held in the UAE this year.
