Uddhav Thackeray: Time has come to show the shoes of Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari Kolhapuri: Uddhav Thackeray | Mumbai News – Times of India

Mumbai: Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray Demanded a public apology from Governor Bhagat Singh on Saturday koshyari On his controversial remark that if Gujaratis and Rajasthanis are not here, then Mumbai will not be the financial capital.
Uddhav said that Koshyari has seen a lot of good things in Maharashtra, but now the time has come to show him the Kolhapuri Joda.

Thackeray said Koshyari had insulted Marathi human beings and he was dividing Hindus and polarizing people, especially in Mumbai and Thane, ahead of the local body elections.
He said that the time has come to think whether Koshyari should be sent home or sent to jail.
“Bhagat Singh Koshyari must have seen beautiful caves, Shivaji’s fort and all other good things during his two and a half years. However, now the time has come to show him the shoe of Kolhapuri. Because the Kolhapuri pair (shoe) is also the pride of Maharashtra. Anyone can interpret it according to their wish. But it is definitely time to show the world famous Kolhapuri Joda Koshyari. Uddhav said, how people will use this joda, it depends on them.
Thackeray said that he respected the chair of the governor, but the person sitting on the chair did not respect the chair.

“The post of Governor is a big and respected post. The Governor is the messenger of the President. I do not want to disrespect this position but the person sitting on the chair should also respect the chair, this has not been done by Bhagat Singh Koshyari. He has been in Maharashtra for three years and enjoyed the hospitality and now insults the Marathi manush. This statement did not come out by chance. I don’t know whether his speeches were written in Mumbai or he has come from Delhi, it is a matter of investigation.
Uddhav also recalled Koshyari’s statement on Savitribai Phule and her demand to open places of worship during the lockdown.
“The governor has committed the crime of polarizing people and insulting people of Maharashtra and Marathi identity. They have committed the crime of dividing people before elections, especially in Mumbai and Thane. It is time to think whether Koshyari should be sent home or sent to jail. Koshyari has done the dirty work of dividing Hindus. Neo-Hindus who claim that they are staunch Hindus who are in power… This government should take a stand. This parcel which has been imposed on us should be sent home immediately or if he has committed any crime he should be sent to jail.
Uddhav said that people had struggled to get Mumbai and it was not given to Marathi people by Koshyari.

“Koshyari shows promptness at times but at times he is completely inactive and lies down like a python. We have experienced this with the members of the Legislative Council nominated by the Governor. If he does not want to nominate these members, he has to tell the President that this quota should be abolished. However, today they have created havoc. It is a matter of regret that Maharashtra has been recognized by the world, but not by the Governor, Uddhav said. watch Uddhav Thackeray: ‘Bhagat Singh Koshyari has insulted Marathis; Time has come to see Kolhapuri chappals’
