UGC NET Admit Card 2021: When to expect hall ticket

NS National Testing Agency (NTA) likely to issue University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2021) soon on official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Though the agency has not yet announced the exact date for issuing the admit card. Those who had submitted the application for UGC NET for the above mentioned sessions can access the admit card by using their registered login credentials like application number, date of birth and other details.

NS UGC NET will be conducted this year by combining two sessions – December 2020 and June 2021 sessions. The exam will start from November 20 and will continue till December 5. As per the detailed schedule, the exam will be held on November 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30 and 1, 3, 4 December. and 5 in two innings.

“The candidate will have to download the admit card from the NTA website and appear for the examination at the given center as per the date, shift, timing and discipline,” the official statement said.

Once the admit card is issued, candidates will have to download it and take a hard copy as without the admit card the entry will not be allowed in the examination hall. The UGC-NET hall ticket will contain all the important information like exam date, shift, exam centre, roll number of the candidate, name of the candidate, date of birth of the candidate and other important details.

UGC-NET will be conducted online in two shifts. Paper I will have 50 questions and will carry 100 marks whereas Paper 2 will have 100 questions and will be of 200 marks. There will be no negative marking.

n in the last 10 months, UGC NET has been postponed four times. The agency had merged the December 2020 and June 2021 sessions as neither attempt could be made on time due to COVID-19. Last time the exam was scheduled to be held from October 17 to 25, but it was later postponed.
