UGC NET Result Out: How To Download Here

National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results of University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test or UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 merged cycles. Now candidates can check their UGC NET score through the websites ugcnet.nta.nic.in and ntaresults.nic.in. To view the result, candidates have to use their application number and date of birth.

On October 26, the window for raising objections to the provisional answer keys closed. And the final answer key of UGC NET was published before the results.

UGC NET Result: Minimum Qualifying Marks

Normalization method has been used to determine the marks obtained by the candidates.

A general category candidate will be considered eligible for UGC NET ‘JRF & Assistant Professor’ and ‘Assistant Professor’ if he/she obtains at least 40 percent aggregate marks in Paper I and II. At the same time, the reserved category candidates should get a total of 35 percent marks.

UGC NET Result 2022: Steps to Download

Step 1. Visit the official site ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2. On the home page click on the download scorecard link.

Step 3. Enter your application number and date of birth.

Step 4. Submit and review the score.

Step 5. Download the mark sheet and make a copy of it for future reference.

The UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 cycles were conducted concurrently as the December 2021 cycle was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. NTA decided to combine the December 2021 and June 2022 cycles to reduce the impact on the candidates and to make the exam cycle more consistent.

UGC NET is conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian citizens for the posts of ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian universities and colleges.
