UK-based coffee-sandwich franchise ‘Pret a Manger’ to launch in India soon

India is known as a tea lover country. But that doesn’t mean it lags behind in terms of coffee addiction. You heard us The UK-based coffee and sandwich franchise will soon be opening its stores in India.

Reportedly, Reliance Industries has joined hands with ‘Pret a Manger’ to bring the coffee chain to India. It will also mark the company’s (Reliance) entry into the fast-growing food and beverage industry. “Reliance Brands Limited (RBL) will open the food chain across the country, starting with major cities,” the statement said. Reuters further reported that Reliance is likely to open the first Pret store in Mumbai before March 2023.

The report further noted that both Pratt and Reliance expect India to become one of the top three markets for the coffee chain within three years.
