Hundreds of girls across the country have been hospitalized on suspicion of poisoning.

Dubai:

Iran’s supreme leader said on Monday the poisoning of Iranian schoolgirls was an “unforgivable” crime, amid suspicions that hundreds of girls have been hospitalized across the country in recent months.

State media quoted Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as saying, “The authorities should take seriously the case of the poisoning of the students. It is an unforgivable crime… The perpetrators of this crime should be given the harshest punishment.”
