West Bengal government fixes school uniform for government school students

There will be uniform uniform in government schools of West Bengal. The government has specified the colours, logo, school bags and shoes for the uniform. Boys will have to wear white pants and blue shirt, and girls will have a white shirt and blue tunic or white and blue salwar kameez as their dress code. The outer surface of the pocket will bear the logo of ‘Biswa Bangla’ on the garment. The new clothes will be made by self-help groups, claims the government.
The Samagra Sikh Mission has already issued a circular for this uniform. It is said that the idea of the new uniform was the idea of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Criticizing the move, BJP state president Sukanta Majumdar said, “We know that the state government is going to fulfill the whims of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee with a blue-white color scheme and Biswa Bangla logo on all government and aided schools. is putting It works against the autonomy of an educational institution and is a political move of Trinamool Congress.
