UP Board Class 10, 12 Exams: Improvement exams begin from today

Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPMSP) has started reforms in class 10th and class 12th from today. Examination.

“Total 98 students have registered to re-appear in board exam for improvement exam. Marks obtained in this exam will be considered as final. We exams are strictly following the COVID-19 protocol,” Principal Rajkiya Inter College Shyama Kumar of Moradabad told ANI.

Tasleem, a student who appeared in the class 10 board exam, said, “I have prepared well for the exam. I was not satisfied with my marks, so I registered to appear again.”

UP Board 10th and 12th exam results were declared on July 31. The overall pass percentage of UP Board 10th was 99.53 percent, while in UP Inter Class 12th it was 97.88 percent.

To calculate the results of class 12 students studying under the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPMSP) this year, 50 per cent of the marks obtained in class 10, 40 per cent of the marks obtained in class 11 annual examination or half-yearly examination and class 10 percent of the marks obtained in the pre-board of 12 will be considered.

For class 10, 50 per cent marks obtained in class 9 and 50 per cent marks obtained in class 10 pre-board will be considered, he said.

The new formula was announced for the evaluation of class 10 and 12 students under the state board amid the outbreak of COVID-19.
