UP CM in Rajasthan said, ‘Sanatan Dharma is the national religion, Ram Mandir is the national temple.’

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Friday, “Our Sanatan Dharma is the national religion of India.”

Speaking at the Neelkanth Mahadev Temple Festival in Rajasthan’s Jalore, the chief minister said, “We should rise above our selfishness and selfishness and join our national religion (Hinduism).”

He said, “Our country should remain safe, and if our temples were destroyed, we should campaign to restore them like (we did) in Ayodhya.”

With assembly elections in Rajasthan due at the end of the year, it seems the Bharatiya Janata Party is already setting the tone for its campaign in the state.

Appreciating the restoration work of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, he said, “Today, after 500 years, the Ram temple in Ayodhya is going to be renovated due to the hard work of Prime Minister Modi.”

The UP chief minister even said that the Ram temple would be a “Rashtriya Mandir” or a national temple. Adityanath said he was happy that the construction of the Ram temple would be completed within a year.

The festival of renovation of Neelkanth temple in Jalore is being held for 11 days. Union Water Resources Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was also present on this occasion. Shekhawat and Adityanath too planted Rudraksh tree in the program.

Adityanath said, “It is necessary to visit Rajasthan to understand the real essence of the religion.”
