UP CM Yogi Adityanath says UP budget fulfills people’s aspirations

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday said that Uttar Pradesh’s 2022-23 budget fulfills the aspirations of the people of the state and is the government’s vision for the next five years. The budget has taken care of the BJP’s Lok Sankalp Patra (election manifesto) issued during the assembly elections, and addressed 97 out of 130 resolutions, he said.

Adityanath said that along with the all-round development of the state, the budget will also prepare a roadmap for a bright future. State Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna presented the first budget of over Rs 6.15 lakh crore of Yogi Adityanath’s second term government in the state assembly on Thursday. This is the biggest budget of the state till date.

Describing the budget as one according to the aspirations of 25 crore people of the state, Adityanath said that it has been prepared keeping in mind the overall development of the state. He said that this would benefit every section of the society including villages, poor, farmers, youth, women and workers. The Chief Minister told reporters after presenting the budget, “This budget is also a vision for the next five years which will pave the way for a bright future along with inclusive and inclusive development of the state.”

He said that the ‘Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra’ was issued by the BJP ahead of the 2022 assembly elections in the state. “Out of 130 proposals in the manifesto, 97 have been addressed in this first budget itself and a provision of Rs 54,883 crore has been made for it,” Adityanath said.

He said that the announcement of providing two LPG cylinders free of cost to the beneficiary families of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana has been given place in the budget. Adityanath said that Bhamashah Bhava Stability Fund has been set up in the budget to provide relief to farmers in the form of minimum support price for perishable crops like potato, tomato and onion.

He said that for the convenience of the farmers under the election manifesto, the process of providing free solar panels under the Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana is being taken forward. Under this, a provision has been made to provide more than 15,000 solar panels in this budget.

Adityanath said that for employment generation in the state, a provision for survey has been made in the budget to link one person from every family to government job, employment or self-employment. He said that the funds required for the construction of the international airport in Ayodhya have also been allocated in the budget.

The Chief Minister said that in 2025, the world’s biggest spiritual and cultural event will be held again in the form of Kumbh and the government is going to start its preparations from now on. He said, ‘A separate provision has been made for this in the budget.
