UP Election 2022: Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday alleged that the “double engine” government has brought “double corruption” in Uttar Pradesh and promised to set up a corpus fund of Rs 10,000 crore to ensure timely payments to farmers.

“Double engine government has brought double corruption in Uttar Pradesh. So, vote to remove corruption from the state so that Baba ji (Adityanath) can return to his home after the (election) results are declared,” Yadav said in a joint meeting with Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) alliance partner Jayant Choudhary. said while addressing the rally)

Yadav said that the election is to protect the constitution, brotherhood and unity of the country. Speaking before him, Choudhary said, “BJP is planning to hike petrol and diesel prices after coming to power in Uttar Pradesh. The farmers of the region and the country have defeated him after 13 months of protest.

“We assure you that after we come to power, the recruitment will be done in a time bound manner. The industrialization which was required in the region will be done after coming to power,” he said.
