UP elections: Minister accused of inaugurating incomplete bridge before Model Code of Conduct comes into force

The Samajwadi Party has alleged that Uttar Pradesh minister Suresh Kumar Khanna inaugurated an unfinished bridge over the Garra river here just to take credit and fool people ahead of the assembly elections. SP district president Tanveer Khan said, “Khanna had inaugurated the bridge last Thursday which is incomplete. BJP is doing such inauguration to fool people as it failed on all fronts.”

He alleged that the bridge was inaugurated a few days before the model code of conduct for the assembly elections came into force. When asked about the inauguration of the incomplete bridge by the minister, Municipal Commissioner Santosh Sharma said.
