UP govt aims to provide placement to 80% polytechnic students, check details

Around 900 students are enrolled in government polytechnic colleges of the state and in the last session most of them got placements in electronics and mechanical departments.

However, the students of the civil department had to be disappointed. But now, there is good news for all the students as the Department of Technical Education has taken up the task of promoting the placement drive in Polytechnic Institutes all over Uttar Pradesh. To achieve this, the department will send students for placements as per the demand of companies and organize campus placement drives in institutes. This approach will also help in connecting the nearby institutes with the placement drive.

Recently 80 students have been placed

Tajmul Afzal, principal of the Government Polytechnic College in Moradabad, said that last week around 80 students have been selected by JBM Group, and another company has proposed to select 120 more students. The Principal further added that the college is leaving no stone unturned to ensure placement of its students in top companies. It has a dedicated team working tirelessly towards the goal of providing job opportunities to every student. They are conducting various programs for the personality development of the students to make them job ready.
