Candidates who participated in the Uttar Pradesh National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (UP NEET UG) can check the merit list by visiting the official website of the board at upneet.gov.in

The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, will release the merit list of the UP NEET counselling mop round today, September 12. Candidates who participated in the Uttar Pradesh National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (UP NEET UG) can check the merit list by visiting the official website of the board at upneet.gov.in.

As per the directorate, candidates who paid the registration fee and deposited the security amount and whose documents have been verified by the officials will be included in the UP NEET UG counselling mop-up round. It is important to note that the last date to pay the fee is today, September 12.

UP NEET UG Mop-up Round Merit List: Steps to Download

Step 1: Navigate to the official website of UP NEET at upneet.gov.in.

Step 2: Locate and click on the link that mentions the UP NEET Mop-up Merit List that will be available on the homepage.

Step 3: A new window will be displayed where candidates will have to add their registration number, password, and captcha.

Step 4: Your UP NEET UG mop-up round list will be displayed on the window.

Step 5: Check your name on the list along with other details.

Step 6: If needed, download and take a printout of the same for admission purposes.

The directorate has clarified that only students who were not allocated a seat in the initial and second rounds of UP NEET counselling 2023 are eligible to participate in the mop-up round. To register, candidates are required to submit a registration fee of Rs. 1,000. Additionally, a security deposit is mandatory for securing a seat, with government medical colleges requiring Rs 30,000, private medical colleges demanding Rs 2 lakh, and private dental colleges necessitating Rs 1 lakh. Those applicants who already submitted the security deposit during the first and second rounds of UP NEET counselling are exempt from this additional payment.

The merit list is set to be published on September 12. Following this, the online choice-filling period will be from September 13, starting at 5 pm., until September 15, ending at 5 pm. The declaration of the seat allotment result is expected on either September 16 or September 17. Subsequently, successful candidates will have the opportunity to download their allotment letters and complete the admission process from September 18 to 21.
