As per the system, a student scoring between 91 and 100 in any course/paper of any major, minor subject, co-curricular and vocational subjects will be awarded a grade point of 10 and a grade letter of O (Excellent) .

The subsequent grade marks will be awarded on the basis of marks obtained by the student.

Those scoring less than 33 per cent in Major or Minor subjects will be considered as failed with grade point zero. For co-curricular and vocational subjects, the pass percentage is 40.

Job-oriented courses will carry a maximum of 100 marks, with 60 for training and practical work and 40 for theory paper.

The minimum passing marks for these courses will be 40 percent. However, irrespective of the result of students in odd semester, they will be promoted to even semester.

However, in even semesters, there will be students passing a minimum of 50 per cent of the credit papers (both theory and practical) in both the semesters and scoring 50 per cent of the credit papers of the major subjects (in both the semesters). Promoted the following year.

For promotion to the third year, a student must pass the requisite 46 credit papers and qualify in co-curricular courses.

There will be no corrections and back paper for internal examination. No student will be allowed to appear in the back paper of the last two semesters simultaneously.

Based on the number of credits scored in a specific course in a semester and the grade points obtained, a Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) will be calculated. Using this SGPA, the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) will be calculated.
