Upcoming Royal Enfield Bikes: Hunter 350, Himalayan 450, 650 Models & More – Times of India

Royal Enfield There are some really big plans for this year and the next one with a lot of new motorcycles all set to launch. If the existing lineup of new Classic 350, Bullet 350, meteor 350, Himalayan, Scrum 411, and 650 Twins don’t just tickle your fancy, the 650cc parallel-twin engine is ready to take on many new avatars and the new J Platform 350cc engine will also give rise to new bikes. Here’s a look.
Royal Enfield Hunter 350
The Hunter 350 will be based on the Royal Enfield J platform as it is Meteor 350 and the new Classic 350. It will be styled as a roadster with slightly rear-set footpegs and more upright ergonomics. Directly rivaling the Honda CB350RS, it will be powered by the same 349cc single-cylinder engine as the Meteor and Classic, which will deliver 20.2 hp and 27 Nm of torque. It will also get a tripper navigation pod but as an optional extra. The Hunter 350 might just be the most affordable Royal Enfield sitting on top of the Bullet 350 which is still powered by the UCE engine. Expect a launch sometime in early August.
Royal Enfield Bullet 350
The quintessential Royal Enfield, Bullet 350 will also be brought on the J platform powered by the new engine, which also sits on the new Classic 350, Meteor 350 and the upcoming Hunter 350. So, the power figures will be the same 20.2 HP and 27 Nm torque but the bullet in this variant will be much more refined than before.

The Thunderbird/Super Meteor 650 cruiser, a bobber based on the SG650 concept, and a retro-themed 650cc roadster have now been spotted testing multiples. Royal Enfield’s 650 parallel-twin engine quickly became popular, even more so in the international markets.
a production-ready version of shotgun 650 It was recently spotted during testing and is expected to launch sometime next year. These upcoming 650 models will all be powered by a 648cc parallel-twin engine that makes 47 PS and 52 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox. The bikes should get a slipper clutch and dual-channel ABS as standard fitment.
Royal Enfield Himalaya 450
After much anticipation of the 650 Twin Himalayan, it is now confirmed that the new Himalayan 450 will feature a new engine and platform. The new 450cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine will likely make 40 hp and 45 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox. It will feature three ride modes – road, rain and off-road. Unlike the current generation Himalayan 411, it will get ride-by-wire as well as switchable ABS. Its launch is expected in early 2023.
