Candidates, who appeared for the UPPSC GIC Preliminary Examination held on September 19, 2021 in a single session, can check the result online at the official website – https://uppsc.up.nic.in/. A total of 15046 candidates have made it to the main examination to be held on February 6, 2022.
The UPPSC GIC prelims exam was conducted for 16 subjects – Hindi, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Economics, Civics, Geography, History, Social Science, Education, Urdu, Commerce and Home Science. The commission received online applications from 4,91,370 while 1,56,957 candidates appeared in the examination. There are approximately 991 vacancies for the male branch while 482 posts are vacant for the female branch.
The candidates who have cleared the preliminary exam have to apply online for the main exam and pay the required exam fee. The information related to the main exam will be released later on the official website.
Information related to the post wise / category wise cut off marks and marks obtained by the candidates will be issued on the website of the Commission after the declaration of the final selection result.
