Based on the results of the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2022, held by the Union Public Service Commission from 16 September 2022 to 25 September 2022, the candidates with roll numbers given below have qualified for Personality Test (Interview) Indian Administrative Service , for selection to the Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and other Central Services (Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’).

2. The candidature of these candidates is provisional subject to their being found eligible in all respects. Candidates will be required to produce original certificates in support of their eligibility/reservation claims. Age, Educational Qualification, Community, Economically Weaker Section, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and other documents like TA Form etc. at the time of their Personality Test (Interview). Therefore, they are advised to keep the above documents ready with them. Candidates seeking benefits of reservation/relaxation available to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWBD/Ex-Servicemen etc. will also have to produce the original certificates issued up to the last date of application for Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination. 2022 i.e. 22.02.2022.

3. The date of Personality Test (Interview) of these candidates will be notified in due course, which will be held in the office of the Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069. Accordingly the Personality Test (Interview) schedule will be made available. E-Summon letters for Personality Test (Interview) of the candidates will be made available in due course, which can be downloaded from the Commission’s website https://www.upsc.gov.in & https://www.upsconline.in. CANDIDATES WHO MAY NOT BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD THEIR E-SUMMON LETTERS SHOULD IMMEDIATELY CONTACT THE OFFICE OF THE COMMISSION THROUGH LETTER OR ON PHONE NO. . 011-23384472 or by email (csm-upsc.gov.in)[at]NIC[dot]In). No paper summon letter for Personality Test (Interview) will be issued by the Commission.

4. No request for change of date and time of Personality Test (Interview) as communicated to the candidates will normally be entertained.

5.1 All candidates who qualify for the Personality Test (Interview) are mandatorily required to fill and submit their Detailed Application Form-II (DAF-II). In this regard, the following provisions have been made in the Civil Services Examination, 2022 Rules:

“14(1) Before the commencement of the interview/personality test of the examination, a candidate shall be required to compulsorily indicate the order of preference only for those Services for which he is appearing in the Civil Services Examination-2022 and for which In case of final selection, the candidate is willing to be allotted, OBC Annexure (only for OBC category) and EWS Annexure (only for EWS category) in the on-line Detailed Application Form-II (DAF-II). is required to be submitted. Any delay in submission of DAF-II or documents in support beyond the prescribed date will not be permitted and candidature for CSE-2022 will be cancelled. (3) A candidate who seeks to be considered for the Indian Administrative Service or the Indian Police Service shall be required to indicate in the Online Detailed Application Form-II the order of preferences for the various Zones and Cadres to which the candidate seeks to be considered for allocation. 5.2 Therefore, in accordance with the above provisions of the Rules of Examination, all these candidates are required to fill and submit DAF-II ONLINE only, which will be available on the website of the Union Public Service Commission (https://upsconline). .nic.in) during the period from December 08, 2022 to December 14, 2022 till 6:00 PM, failing which their candidature will be canceled and no correspondence will be entertained by the Commission in this regard. Further, no e-summon letter will be issued to such candidates.

6. Request for any change/modification in the information given in DAF-I and DAF-II will not be entertained by the Commission. However, wherever necessary, the candidates are advised to inform the change in their address/contact details, if any, to the Commission immediately through letter, email (CSM-UPSC).[at]NIC[dot]in) or fax to the numbers given in paragraph 3 within 7 days of publication of this Press Note.

7. All eligible candidates will be required to fill up and submit the Online Verification Form which will be made available on the website of Department of Personnel & Training from the date of commencement of Personality Test (Interview) till the completion of Interview.
