The UPSC NDA and NA 1 exam is to be conducted today, April 21. Candidates can access their admit card from the official website – upsconline.nic.in

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)  National Defence Academy (NDA), Combined Defence Services (CDS) and  Naval Academy (NA) 1 exam for 2024 is scheduled to be conducted nationwide today, April 21. The exam will be held in two sessions. The first session is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and the second session will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

It’s important to note that the gates to the exam hall will close promptly at 9:30 AM for the morning shift and 1:30 PM for the afternoon shift. No candidates will be permitted to enter the exam venue after this time.

Candidates who have applied for the NDA, NA 1 exam or CDS 1 can access the admit card from the official website – upsconline.nic.in, by using their login credentials.

The CDS 1 exam will take place in three shifts. The English paper will take place from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by the GK Paper from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM, and the Maths Paper from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Notably, no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall after 8:30 AM.

UPSC NDA, NA (I) 2024: Exam Day Guidelines

–– Candidates are required to bring a Photo ID card, with the serial number mentioned in their admit card, to each session. Additionally, those with unclear photographs on the e-admit card must bring one photo identity card and two passport-size photographs (one for each session).

–– Each applicant will need to arrive at the exam centre 30 minutes before the scheduled exam time to avoid any confusion.

–– Candidates can only appear at the venue specified in their e-Admit Card. If a candidate appears at any other venue for any reason, their candidature will be cancelled.

–– Candidates are allowed to wear regular wristwatches inside the Examination Rooms/Halls. However, the use of watches equipped with any special accessory that could be used as a communication device or smartwatch is strictly prohibited.

–– There will be negative markings for incorrect answers.

–– Candidates are required to bring along three passport-sized photos and a printout of the e-Admit Card to the exam centre.

–– Candidates are not permitted to bring any valuables or expensive objects inside the examination hall, including IT devices, books, bags, and so on.
