US man cuts out woman’s heart, cooks it for his family, then kills her

Lawrence Paul Anderson, 44, committed the murders weeks after his release from prison.

A man, who murdered a woman, cut out her heart and then killed two people, including a four-year-old child, has been sentenced to life in prison in the US state of Oklahoma, reports said.

According to IndependentLawrence Paul Anderson, 44, committed the heinous murders in 2021, less than a month after his early release from prison.

A few weeks after he was released, he murdered and carved out Andrea Blankenship’s heart, took it to his aunt and uncle’s house and cooked the organ with potatoes.

He then attempted to serve the couple an appalling meal, before stabbing 67-year-old Leon Pie and his 4-year-old granddaughter Keos Yates to death. ABC News reported.

Anderson had served only three years of a 20-year sentence on the drug case when it was commuted by Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt. His release was part of a massive conversion effort by the state, but an investigation later found that he had been put on the conversion list by mistake.

Anderson received five consecutive life sentences after being convicted of murder, assault and dismemberment.

Anderson’s aunt, who was also injured in the attack, and the families of other victims have filed a case against the Oklahoma governor and the prison parole board.
