US man dies, son injured after being electrocuted while holding hands

A 34-year-old man died and his younger son was seriously injured when he was struck by lightning while walking to a bus stop in Texas, US, on Monday evening.

Police said a 6-year-old boy, who was found “unconscious but breathing”, was taken to a local hospital, while his father was pronounced dead at the scene. According to the GoFundMe page, Grayson is now “fighting for his life” at Baylor Scott & White McLean Children’s Medical Center in Temple.
