US tech firm opens development center in Bengaluru to hire 200 engineers

Granicus, a Denver-based firm that provides software applications and platforms to governments around the world to drive citizen-centric services, on Friday set up an innovation and product development center in Bengaluru.

This will be the company’s first such development facility in India and will employ over 200 engineers by the end of 2022, Granicus said in a release.

The team of engineers at Grenicus, using analytics, data science and machine learning, will develop massively scalable, highly secure systems for governments and citizen engagement in India, it added.
