Teddy Day is the fourth day of Valentine’s Week. It is quite easy to guess that on this day people gift each other stuffed teddy bears as a symbol of their love and affection. Teddy Day is celebrated every year on 10 February. Did you know that the teddy bear is named after former US President Theodore ‘Teddy’ Roosevelt? Back in 1902, Roosevelt refused to shoot a tied up black bear. Inspired by this story, a toy maker created a stuffed toy bear and named it Teddy Bear. Today teddy bear has become a symbol of love.
