Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, said that the train timings have been changed only by a few minutes and the new schedule will be effective in the next few days.

“This has been done to make train operations smooth,” Thakur said. According to the release, Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Gujarat Superfast Express, Howrah-Ahmedabad Superfast Express, Bandra Terminus-Gorakhpur Humsafar Express and Bandra Terminus-Ramnagar Superfast Express are some of the trains whose timings have been changed.

The indigenously designed and manufactured semi-high speed Mumbai-Gandhinagar Vande Bharat Express was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the Gujarat capital on September 30 this year and began commercial operations the next day.
