Kamal Haasan will be producing Sivakarthikeyan’s next SK21.
Appreciating Kamal Haasan, Rajkumar Periyasamy revealed that the Indian 2 actor doesn’t need a director because of his amazing composure and dedication towards his work.
Actor-producer Kamal Haasan will produce director Rajkumar Periyasamy’s upcoming film, tentatively titled SK21. Directed by Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, the inaugural puja ceremony was held last Friday. Haasan has previously worked with Rajkumar Periyasamy in the 2017 popular television reality show Bigg Boss Tamil. Now, at a recent award function, the filmmaker showered praises on the legendary Tamil star. When asked how was his experience directing Kamal Haasan in Bigg Boss, Rajkummar only had positive things to say about him.
Appreciating the Vikram actor, Rajkummar revealed that Kamal Haasan doesn’t need a director because of his amazing composure and dedication towards his work. The filmmaker shared, “He is much easier to work with than anyone I have worked with so far.” Rajkumar also emphasized on Kamal Haasan’s sweet and gentle personality as well as his ability to understand the new generation.
There were hardly any delays on film sets when Kamal Haasan was present, as he ensured that the film’s team was not disturbed when he was present. Despite talking about the importance of hard work and dedication everywhere, Rajkummar said the 68-year-old was never once completely serious and fun. Rajkumar’s words have made fans speculate that maybe Bigg Boss was directed by Haasan himself.
Talking about SK21, the film is produced under the banner of Raj Kamal Films International. It is reported that Sivakarthikeyan will appear in a never seen before avatar which will leave the audience stunned. The shooting of the film began on 5 May and will be shot over a span of two months. Amongst the various shooting locations, SK21 will also be exclusively shot in the snowy land of Kashmir.
The sources further claimed that SK21 will revolve around patriotism. Music will be sung by GV Prakash. This will be the first time that Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi will be paired opposite each other, making the film even more exciting. Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan will be next seen in the sequel of his blockbuster 1996 film Indian, titled Indian 2. Directed by S Shankar, Indian 2 also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Manobala and Samuthirakani in key roles.
