Vicky Kaushal’s next film with Dharma and Prime Video to release in July 2023

Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and streaming service Prime Video on Friday announced that his upcoming film starring Vicky Kaushal will hit the theaters on July 28, 2023.

Directed by Anand Tiwari, the yet-to-be-titled film also stars Tripti Dimri and Ammy Virk. A press release said the film will be available for streaming to Prime members in India and will have a theatrical run in over 240 countries and territories.

The project is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra and Tiwari.

This is the second theatrical co-production between Prime Video and Dharma Productions. Their first joint project is headed by Sidharth Malhotra WarriorSlated to release on July 7, 2023.

Johar called Tiwari’s directorial debut “special in many respects”.

Tiwari and Bindra’s banner Leo Media Collective is co-producing the upcoming film. The duo said that they are excited to collaborate with Prime Video and Dharma for the film. “The film is an all-round entertainer. We are sure that the audience will love to watch a story that has not been told before. We are also excited to partner with Prime Video once again. Together, we have brought two very different stories In the recent past – ‘Maja Maa’ and ‘Bandish Bandits’. Also, we are looking forward to working with the team at Dharma Productions.”
