In Punjab, 11 people have died after falling unconscious in a gas leak incident in a factory in Giaspura area of Ludhiana. Police said that four more people are ill, who are undergoing treatment in the hospital. A rescue team was rushed to the spot, and a team of doctors, an ambulance and a fire brigade have also been deployed at the spot. A 50-member team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has also reached the spot. The affected area has been cordoned off.
