The Karnataka High Court today took suo moto cognizance of the metro accident in Bengaluru in which a woman and her two-year-old son were killed. The reinforcement cage of an under-construction Metro pillar fell on a two-wheeler on Tuesday due to the negligence of Metro officials. The woman and son died during treatment at a nearby hospital, while her husband and daughter were also injured.
